Whether you are a classroom teacher, gifted specialist, coordinator, administrator, counselor, university student, or advocate, you belong in ITAG. For only $25 per year, you gain access to a supportive statewide network and help strengthen gifted education for students across Idaho.
Apply for an Edufest Grant of up to $865. ITAG members may apply for funding to help cover registration, housing, meals, and other eligible Edufest expenses. Over $45,000 has been granted since 2022! Applications open annually in March.
Connect with Idaho’s gifted education community. Build relationships with classroom teachers, gifted specialists, coordinators, administrators, parents, and advocates from across the state.
Participate in monthly GT Collaboratives. Join welcoming, informal conversations, hosted by the Idaho SDE GT Coordinator, where educators exchange ideas, discuss current gifted education topics, ask questions, and learn from one another. Register here: 1st Thursdays or 1st Fridays every month (Sept-May)
Access high-quality professional learning. Learn from respected authors, speakers, and gifted education experts through ITAG webinars, book studies, workshops, and multi-session professional development classes.
Earn professional development credit. Select ITAG learning opportunities include the option to earn credit while building knowledge and skills you can immediately apply in your classroom or program.
Receive books, resources, and classroom materials. Members may receive featured professional books, Reflection Journals, instructional resources, and ready-to-use materials with select ITAG learning opportunities.
Learn practical strategies for supporting gifted and 2e learners. ITAG programming addresses identification, differentiation, creativity, Depth and Complexity, project-based learning, social-emotional needs, twice-exceptionality, and other timely topics.
Discover grants and special opportunities. ITAG regularly connects members with funding, conferences, training opportunities, and resources that can strengthen gifted programming in Idaho schools.
Stay informed about gifted education in Idaho. Receive updates about upcoming events, statewide initiatives, advocacy efforts, professional resources, and opportunities for educators and families.
Add your voice to statewide advocacy. Your membership strengthens ITAG’s work to increase awareness, improve educational opportunities, and advocate for gifted and talented students throughout Idaho.
